The best way to get an idea of what we have to offer is to pop in to the shop. Below is a list of some of the things we have, with indicative prices where possible. Alongside stocking Fairtrade products, we also stock work by local artisans

Sanuk has a large number of antique rings, bracelets, necklaces, broches and alike from around the world. Please pop in and see  our exciting and extensive range.

Meubles - Various Prices
Meubles specialise in 'shabby chic', restored furniture from a bygone age. Their range includes drawers (like the oriental one above), chairs, tables, and all manner of things in between. Check their website for more details


Antique pieces
We stock a number of antique pieces (as does the furniture shop DejaVu situated next door to us) including Indian Cabinets ( wood from £145, glass from £95), Moroccon lampshades (from £35), tablecloths from Indian Workers Collective (from £35) and decorative hand stitched wall hangings from Women's Artisan Collective in Rajasthan (from around £50)

Old Potting Shed - Garden Ornaments and More
Based in Great Gaddesden, a stones throw from Sanuk, the Old Potting Shed specialises in garden ornaments, plaques, containers, bird boxes, and rather marvellous walking sticks (£19.95). Please visit their website for more details

Artwork/Sculptures:

Suzanne Parker at The Beach Hut Studio
Since graduating from Kingston Polytechnic, Suzanne has worked in  the fashion/textile industry in London and Paris. She is currently a freelance illustrator and tutor. Aside from the wonderful collection of watercolours for sale at Sanuk, she is also available for commissions. Visit her website  for more info and examples of her work

Tribal/Religious Artwork and Figures
We carry a wide selection of tribal and religious art works from across the world, ranging from statuettes of Hindu deities and Buddhas, of varying sizes and materials to intricate hand painted figures.

We stock a wide selection of incense sticks, cones and holders with a fragrance to suit everyone. We also have fragrant oils and burners available.


StarChild - Various Prices
Star Child provide all manner of  aromatheraphy and essential oils. We stock burners, oils, tinctures, herbals infusions and base oils.

J A Mosaics, based in Buckinghamshire, provide us with a selection of wonderful mobiles, starting at £6.50. Examples of their work can be found on their website

 
We also stock all manner of unusual and beautiful gifts from long wall hangings (£30 upwards), prayer flags (£7), wicker baskets (£12) to candle holders (£3 upwards) and mobiles (£15 upwards)

These cards from Museums Direct include floral designs, famous art works of the 1930s, as well as other memorable designs.



Cards by Clare Madicott - Various Prices
Clare Madicott designs cards for all occasions. Each design features unique art work, perfect to show that special someone how much you care. More information on the designs can be found in the Links section.

CDs and Instruments:


We stock a small selection of World Music and New Age CDs with prices starting at £8

  
We have a collection of instruments from around the world,  including  gourd shakers, djembes of varying sizes, kalimba thumb pianos and other percussion and noisemakers.  Alongside this, we also stock  different sizes of singing bowls


Local Produce:


Local honey (from the hives at the bottom of the garden at Sanuk) is £4 a jar


We  also stock free range eggs at £1.25 per dozen

Clothing:


We stock a variety of one off pieces, along with dresses, shirts, blouses and more... Our stock is constantly changing, so the best bet is to come in and have a look for yourself


How To Find Us

  • Sanuk sits just outside the village of Potten End, near Berkhamstead. There are car parking facilities for around 10 cars. Sanuk also lies adjacent to picturesque woodland owned by the National Trust (known as Little Heath) so a brisk stroll from Potten End or Berkhampstead to Sanuk is always a pleasurable experience.*
